This article is incomplete and will require additional work.

The Himalayan Border War was a conflict fought between the Eurasian Soviet and several of the South Asian Free States in November and December of 2036. The war began with border skirmishes between Nepal and the Eurasian Soviet after Nepalese support for the Returning Government rebel group.

In spite of a negotiated peace in the form of the Christmas Armistice of 2036, the conflict remained a sore point in both the South Asian Free States and the Eurasian Soviet for the remaining pre-war period, and likely resulted in the selection of Project Great Way over Project Red Wave in the early stages of the Third World War.
