Java Heavy Metals was an industrial equipment manufacturer in OEPU Indonesia. By the time of the Humanoid Robotics Renaissance, they had become a producer of hazardous environment robotics, and as a result were one of the companies involved in the production of the Project Lorica testbed designs, Lorica Prima, for which they contributed the main mobility unit designs.
As a Lorica manufacturer, they specialize in low-cost, low-time-to-manufacture designs such as their iconic Type 26.
