The Anti-Authoritarianism Treaty Organization was a wartime strategic alliance originally formed between the Oceanic Econo-Political Union, African Confederation, and the South Asian Free States to formalize their position as a third power during the course of the war. Shortly after its formation, the AATO extended membership to the United States of Western Europe, and, eventually the Free Market Block - in the latter case, to force the Free Market Block to conclude the war at the same time as the other powers.

The formation of the AATO is widely thought to be foundational to the outcome of the Third World War, and ultimately lead to the creation of its direct successor alliance, the Western Sphere Hegemony.
